Information We Handle

When you use Mindset, you may create reflection entries such as impulse, planning, and emotion scores, trigger notes, and generated weekly or monthly insight summaries.

This information is stored locally on your device to power features such as weekly trends, recap screens, and spending story summaries.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Mindset Premium subscriptions are offered as auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple. Purchase processing, billing, renewals, and trial eligibility are handled by Apple through StoreKit.

We do not receive your full payment information.

Photos and Sharing

If you choose Save to Photos, Mindset requests permission to save a generated image to your photo library. This only happens when you initiate that action.

If you choose to share a result or spending story, Mindset passes the selected content to the destination you choose, such as the iOS share sheet or a supported social app.

Data Collection

Based on the current version of the app, we do not collect personal data from the app on our servers for a period longer than necessary to service a real-time request.

• We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs in the app.
• We do not sell personal information.
• We do not use app data for tracking across apps or websites.

Third Parties

Mindset relies on Apple platform services such as StoreKit for subscriptions, Photos permissions for saving images, and system share features for user-initiated sharing.

Data Retention and Your Choices

Your reflection and insight data remain stored locally on your device unless you remove the app or clear that data by deleting the app from your device.

You can choose whether to create reflections, save an image to Photos, or share content. You can also manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Children’s Privacy

Mindset is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
